Playa La Entrega is one of the best and most popular beaches to snorkel in Huatulco.
Like many of the beaches here, La Entrega is known for its calm, clear, and shallow waters, about 15 feet (4.6 meters). There is a natural reef located close to shore, making snorkeling easily accessible for most people from the beach. This is also an ideal location for first-time scuba divers. The reef provides homes for many local species of fish.
The best time to visit this beach is early in the day. The afternoons and weekends tend to be more crowded. This beach is enjoyed by both locals and tourists daily. There are several restaurants on the beach, selling a variety of food items including seafood. You can also purchase alcoholic drinks to help cool off. Remember not to swim right after eating and drinking. ;)
This beach is accessible by car (less than 10 minutes from Santa Cruz) or by boat from the nearby Santa Cruz harbor.
